Wayside Chapel has provided unconditional love, care and support for people on and around the streets of Kings Cross since 1964. For Christmas, Gingerbread Folk provide gingerbread house making activities to their visitors for a special, homely and memorable festive experience.

Starlight’s mission is “To brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families”. Gingerbread Folk  donate gingerbread house making supplies bringing Christmas joy, delight and distraction to kids visiting the Starlight Express room.

Our 'House for a House' initiative brought kindness and joy to last year's festive season. For every gingerbread house kit sold on Black Friday, we donated a gingerbread house kit to Dignity who presented   families doing it tough at Christmas time. Dignity is a charity empowering people who are experiencing homelessness.

Gingerbread Folk are proud patrons of a section of the precious Charles Darwin Reserve in Western Australia. Our donation assists Bush Heritage Australia, an independent not-for-profit that buys and manages land, and partners with Aboriginal people, to conserve our magnificent landscapes and irreplaceable native species forever.

Our cookies are packed in compostable wrappers, piping bags are made from biodegradable film, and cardboard packaging from recyclable, chlorine-free material. We use Green Power and rooftop solar panels generating their own clean, green electricity to power business.
